CDETB has 11 dynamic second level schools across the city of Dublin providing 12-18 year old with Junior and Senior Cycle programmes in environments that are accessible, academically excellent, innovative and inclusive. One of these is Ringsend College.
This year two very talented first year students from Ringsend College, Abbie Cassidy and Clodagh Clarke, were shortlisted to appear at the BT Young Scientists and Technology Exhibition 2018 for their study on stress in young people and the best ways to deal with it. They were also selected to do the launch publicity for the exhibition and found themselves on TV and all over the papers, radio and social media.
And only last year Ringsend College students Toni Mockler, Nichole Gaynor Meir and Kyle Graham won third place in the Social and Behavioural Sciences category at the BT for a self-diagnostic App they created to track teenage mental health.
