Colaiste Dhulaigh announces new Springboard course

Coláiste Dhúlaigh College of Further Education is delighted to announce its new Springboard course in Building Information Modelling with Project Management at LEVEL 6.

This part-time course in Building Information Modelling (BIM) prepares participants to be job ready for using BIM in a wide range of roles in the construction industry, including Architecture, Architectural Technology, BIM Technician, Building Surveyor, Facilities Manager, Project Manager, BIM Technician and various construction team roles.

Participation is FREE for applicants meeting Springboard entry requirements.

The course comprises 4 modules from the BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Construction and the Built Environment:

 

  • Computer Aided Design for Construction (professional-level BIM training using Autodesk REVIT)
  • Technology of Complex Buildings (construction and layout of multi-storey buildings)
  • Work Based Learning & Assessment in Construction & the Built Environment (12-week work placement using REVIT)
  • Project Design, Implementation & Evaluation (a building project to apply & practice the skills being developed)
