Five Lamps Arts Festival 2015 runs from 4th to 14th March

March 9, 2015

The Five Lamps Arts Festival 2015 was launched with a spectacular opening ceremony in Dublin’s Customs House on March 4th at 7pm. Actor John Connors (aka Patrick in Love Hate), who is a former drama student of Marino College, opened the Festival and Finglas Rapper Temper-mental  MissElayneous acted as MC.  Formalities were followed by a Clarion Flute Ensemble, a Fire Dance performance and Samba Drumming.

There is a very strong team in place to plan and deliver this, the ninth Festival, built on a unique partnership between Marino College and members of the Five Lamps community.  The team, under director Róisín Lonergan, includes volunteers who combine a passion for the area and the arts with project management, financial management, marketing and promotion, website development and most importantly people skills.

This year’s Festival will take place between 4th and 14th March.
