Inchicore College of Further Education enjoys award ceremony at Royal Hospital Kilmainham

Over 340 students from Inchicore College of Further Education graduated in two ceremonies at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham on 6th September last.

 

Principal Michael Challoner spoke of the pride the college felt in this talented cohort of graduates: ‘The college is proud to have the use of this magnificent building as a fitting location for our annual awards ceremony for graduates from our many courses. This is a very special day in the cycle of college events and it is the public and formal recognition by the college of your achievements as well as representing the successful culmination of your programme of studies’.

 

The students received awards from  FETAC / BTEC / Royal Academy of Dance / Trinity Guildhall /ISTD certification.  Many will progress to other courses in higher education institutions in Ireland and the UK.

 

Inchicore College situated in the historic Kilmainham /Inchicore area is one of the largest providers of Further Education courses in Ireland today. The college has a wide range of full-time and part-time courses and our enrolment for this coming year is running at an all-time high of over 850 students, in the following disciplines:

 

  • Sport, Leisure and Tourism
  • Business, Legal and Computer Studies
  • Caring services including Social Care, Child-Care, Pre-Nursing, Pre paramedic
  • The Core School of Theatre Studies and Dance
