Last chance to vote for innovative CNS schools

January 14, 2019

Last chance to VOTE CNS.  Voting closes at midnight Tuesday 15th January.

CDETB is applying for patronage of three of the new Dublin City primary schools announced by the DES. The three schools we want to run will serve the following areas:

1: Dublin 6_Clonskeagh & Dublin 6W (16 Classrooms)

2: Killester_Raheny_Clontarf – (8 classrooms)

3: Donaghmede_Howth_D13 (16 Classrooms)

We want to bring the new innovative Education and Training Board CNS model of primary school education to Dublin City.

The patron will be chosen by parents / guardians with children of eligible school age who live in these areas. They will do so by voting online on a patronage site provided by the Department.

Do you want your school to publicly owned, inclusive, multi-denominational creative and innovative?

The Community National School (CNS) model, run by Education and Training boards, already has 14 thriving CNS schools across the country. We want to bring this CNS model, which has already established itself as powerful and effective – to the City.
