CDETB wants to bring the new innovative Education and Training Board CNS model of primary school education to Dublin City.
The Department of Education and Skills (DES) has announced that new primary schools will be opening in Dublin in 2019. The DES has identified the areas the schools will be in and has invited education bodies to apply to be patrons of these schools. The patron will be chosen by parents / guardians with children of eligible school age who live in these areas. They will do so by voting online on a patronage site provided by the Department.
Do you want your school to publicly owned, inclusive, multi-denominational creative and innovative?
The Community National School (CNS) model, run by Education and Training boards, already has 14 thriving CNS schools across the country. We want to bring this CNS model, which has already established itself as powerful and effective – to the City.
We are applying for patronage of three of the new schools announced by the DES. The three schools we want to run will serve the following areas:
1: Dublin 6_Clonskeagh & Dublin 6W (16 Classrooms)
2: Killester_Raheny_Clontarf – (8 classrooms)
3: Donaghmede_Howth_D13 (16 Classrooms)
