New staff attend induction day

From Anatomy and Animal Grooming to Web Authoring and Youth Studies……

CEO Jacinta Stewart welcomed 45 new staff at the beginning of an Induction Programme that was held recently in Killester College of Further Education.

Thirteen of our schools and colleges offer second level and up to 20 new staff have joined our second level team. Sixteen of our colleges offer PLC and 15 new staff have joined this team with PLC specialisms varying from Anatomy to Animal Grooming, Customer Service, Communications, Catering, Social Studies and much more. Five of the new staff joined the Youthreach team while two new staff joined the Prison Education Service.

The CEO warmly welcomed this new group of educators whose range of skills and talents, she said, will contribute to the rich diversity of what’s on offer across the city by CDETB.

As part of their induction the group heard presentations from the CDETB Human Resources Department, Psychological Service, Curriculum Development Unit (CDU) and Sports and Cultural Council (SCC).
