CDETB/CDYSB are inviting applications under the Targeted Youth Employability Support Initiative (TYESI) 2021/2022. A total of €275,700 has been made available for this scheme in the CDETB. The aim of the Targeted Youth Employability Support Initiative (TYESI) is to engage and support the harder to reach young people aged 15 to 24 years who are not currently in employment, education, or training.
CDETB/CDYSB will not be providing an ETB Needs Profile, applications should provide evidence of the identified need as outlined in the guidance document. The target group for the TYESI is young people between the ages of 15 and 24 (inclusive), who are not currently in employment, education, or training. In general the young people in the target group can be described as:
- experiencing economic disadvantage and/or
- living in communities with higher than average levels of youth unemployment or inter-generational unemployment, and who may be
- experiencing marginalisation or are at risk of not flourishing, have little or no formal structure in their lives, or are experiencing significant isolation.
The closing date for receipt of applications is 21st September 2021.
