Why not try a PLC course as a possible stepping stone to higher education?

August 29, 2013

In an article in today’s Irish Independent entitled  Something for everyone in the countrywide PLC courses,  Katherine Donnelly, Education Editor said ‘As universities place more emphasis on broadening access, business, computing and science have become particularly popular areas for PLC study prior to moving on to degree level’.

CDETB is encouraging prospective students to call into their local College of Further Education to get expert advice on available options.

Enrolment numbers are good on PLC courses across the city of Dublin but there are still places available.

In Whitehall College of Further Education, for example, there are current vacancies in

  • Business with Computer Studies – FETAC Level 5
  • Financial and Legal Services – FETAC Level 6
  • PC Specialist – FETAC Level 5
  • CISCO Data Networking – FETAC Level 5
  • CISCO Data Networking – FETAC  Level 6
