CDETB provides a comprehensive education service to the seven (7) prisons in Dublin ranging from basic education level to FETAC/Junior Cert/ Leaving Cert, ECDL, MOS and Degree Level (Open University) with a particularly strong emphasis on Literacy and Creative Arts e.g. Art, Music, Drama, Writing etc.  A great deal of expertise and resources has been built up over the years by teachers and a number of publications have been produced based on the work of students and teachers.
