Happy Halloween from CDETB

October 25, 2019

The CDETB student annual Zombie Fun Run 2019 was a horrific success.  A horde of Zombies took over Dublin’s north strand in brilliant sunshine from 10am on Thursday 24th October.  This year the funds were raised to support the work of Pieta House. Very welcome guest of honour was superstar Gaelic footballer Michael Darragh MacAuley.
Marino College of Further Education, superb hosts to the event, welcomed CDETB students from far and wide and accommodated beauty treatments, make-up and costume that ensured the event was a terrifying success.
Well done to the CDETB Sports and Cultural Council who have a pivotal role in ensuring CDETB students have fun!

Among the horde of winners on the day were Leanne Clerkin who won scariest staff member and Seamus O’Connor from Pearse Sports Department Soccer 1 who was overall winner of the fun run.

Congratulations also to many of our schools and colleges across the city who took part in other fundraising events for Halloween including  Plunket College who had a Zombie run in aid of St Francis’ Hospice.
